Detailed description
White Horse Golf Club is a public 18-hole golf course located in Kingston, Washington.

White Horse Golf Club opened in 2007. The White Horse Golf course was designed by Cynthia Dye McGarey, the niece of Pete Dye.

Nestled on high ground between the Olympic and Cascade mountains, White Horse Golf Club offers sweeping views of Puget Sound and the mountains. Delights unfold on every hole. Each hole is playable for every skill level. Wide fairways and landing areas allow you to swing away. Subtle greens and one hundred and thirty seven bunkers keep the course interesting -- every single time you play. Five sets of tees allow the course to play from 5,022 to 7,093 yards. You'll find your own sweet spot between challenging and fun. Your round takes you through 456 acres of old-growth cedar, spruce, fir and hemlock. Golf paths wind along side preserved wetlands.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 7,093 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 5,022 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 568 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 168 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 9, a 463 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 17, a 186 yard par-3.

#7, a 441-yard par-4 is pure evil. An uphill tee shot through an alley of trees leads to a fairway that slopes hard from left to right. If you are lucky enough to be in this fairway, club way down and aim way left. Balls hit anywhere on this green end up long, and in trouble.

#13, is a fairly benign-looking 206 yard par-3, however the green on this hole is the challange. It’s possible to 3-putt from 15-feet away.
