Piankatank River Golf Club features a Tidelands-area golf course that is one of the most diverse and scenic in all of Virginia. The front nine offers rolling, tree-lined fairways reminiscent of the state’s best highland courses. The long par 5 at No. 2 and the downhill par three at No. 5 are among the featured holes. The layout’s real grandeur, however, is found on the back nine with a pair of challenging doglegs to start and water in play on most of the other holes, including three that lie on the banks of the Piankatank River. Tidelands golf just doesn’t get any better than this.
