Detailed description

Brambleton Regional Park Golf Course is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Ashburn, Virginia.

Brambleton Regional Park Golf Course first opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by Hank Gordon.

Brambleton Regional was built on rolling terrain that was once farm land. The front nine has more wide open fairways than the back nine, while the back has the tree windbreaks previously planted for protecting the crops. All the greens, as well as some fairways, are well bunkered. The greens vary in size, and some of them are elevated.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6764 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5684 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 586 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 168 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 7, the 586 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. #7 requires a straightaway tee shot to a two-tiered fairway, plus an approach shot to one of the elevated greens. The easiest hole at Brambleton Regional Park Golf Course is # 12, the168 yard par-3.
