Deer Field Golf Course

Deer Field Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located one mile outside Damascus, Virginia, bordered by the Jefferson National Forest.

Deer Field Golf Course first opened for play in 1972.

The course gets its name from the numerous deer that visit from the neighboring Jefferson National Forest.  This course has fast greens and narrow fairways. Water hazards can come into play on a few holes.  

Blue tees: par-36, 2,545 yards
Red tees: par-36, 1,980 yards

The signature hole is #5, a 335-yard, par 4, requiring a shot over some mature trees to the sloped green.
