Richwood Golf Club is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Bluefield, Virginia.

Richwood Golf Club first opened for play in 1968.

Richwood Golf Club has the Appalachian Mountains for a backdrop. The 9 holes run through hilly terrain. Water hazards that come into play on a few holes. The fairways are tree lined, and the greens are large.  

The signature hole is #7, a 172-yard, par 3, requiring a tee shot over water to the green.

Par for the course is 35. From the back tees, the course plays to 2,908 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,305 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 3, a par-5 that plays to 533 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 168 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 3, a 533 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 9, a 466 yard par-5.

Richwood closed in 2010. The closure in November 2010 came after the Virginia Department of Transportation and the town of Bluefield, came to an agreement to complete the long-anticipated state Route 720 Hockman Pike Relocation Project, which will run a road straight through the course.
