Lake St. Catherine Country Club

Lake St. Catherine Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in Poultney, Vermont.

The course opened with 9-holes in 1924. It was expanded to its current 18-hole configuration in 1995.

The front nine has narrow fairways, tree lined on one side and with heavy rough on the other. The back nine is very hilly with several holes cut out of the hillsides. There are some elevated greens with narrow plateaus that offer tiny landing areas. This course's small greens have medium speed. Shot accuracy is essential because water hazards come into play on several holes.  

The course plays longer than the yardage indicates. The par-72 course measures almost 6,300 yards. Given the elevation changes throughout the course, it feels more like 6,700 yards!
