Detailed description
Emerald Springs Golf & Conference Center, is a Semi-Private, 18 hole golf course located in El Paso, Texas.

Emerald Springs golf course first opened in 1966. The course was renovated in 2007.

Nestled in the sandy hills of East El Paso, Emerald Springs has a rich heritage. 60 feet Oak trees and tall Willows testify to this heritage. Emerald Springs was host to one of the most talked about matches in West Texas when a young and undiscovered caddy named Lee Trevino upset the formidable PGA Tour professional Raymond Floyd and boarded a run-away train to stardom.

Emerald Springs is an oasis sitting high above the Rio Grande Valley. The lush green and deceptively hilly fairways create a unique topography for the region. All of the fairways are tree lined. Two ponds that come into play on five holes.

Emerald Springs golf course is a high desert course. #13 is the signature hole. #13 is a 463-yard, par 4, requiring a shot past water on the right. Another difficult hole is #2, a 453-yard, par 4, with water running down the right side of the dogleg right fairway and a green that slopes toward the water.

The Emerald Springs Golf & Conference Center golf course plays to a par-70 and a maximum distance of 6,760 yards. The course rating is 71.5 and the slope rating is 122.
