Nice course, nice staff. Shortest rough I've seen in awhile (and I see a lot of rough.

Given the heat and drought conditions, Blackhorse is in PHENOMANAL shape. Probably a pretty expensive course unless you get some kind of discount; in any case, you're getting one of the premier facilities in the area for your money. Seemed like a few holes were a little confusing as to where the landing areas were on some par 4s and at least one par 5. Looking forward to the South course when I can get there again.

One of the best courses in all of Houston area. Played multiple times and never seen the course in anything short of excellent condition. The front 9 is the most challenging.

A little too expensive for what you get (but I do not like to pay over $50 in this area). No restrooms on the course, only at turn so not good for the ladies or older guys (and maybe some younger guys too). Greens were really fast the day I played. Houses are not close to the course and do not come into play. Some parts of the course are wooded and the trees do come into play. Course was in very good condition but it was extremely windy, typical of the Houston area in March.
