Valley View Golf Course is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located one mile south of Freeman, South Dakota, just 36 miles from Sioux Falls.
The course first opened for play in 1993. The course architect was Marty Johnson.
This predominately open course has very large greens and some elevated tee boxes. Two lakes come into play on four of the nine holes.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees the course plays to 3,110 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,359 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 536 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 126 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 406 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. #5 requires a tee shot up a dogleg left fairway, then an approach shot over water to the green. The easiest hole is # 2, a 126 yard par-3.
