The Pointe Golf Course, previously named Elk Point Country Club, is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Elk Point, South Dakota. Elk Point is a community of 1,855 citizens located 15 miles from Sioux City, Iowa.
The course first opened for play in 1964. The golf course was designed by Ronnie Gobel.
This flat course has an abundance of beautiful flower beds. The fairways are tree-lined. All the fairways are bordered by a standard cut of rough, and sand bunkers come into play on many holes. In addition, a lake comes into play on two holes. The greens are slightly sloped and of average speed.
