Tomahawk Country Club | Tomahawk Golf Course

Tomahawk Country Club is a Public, 9 hole golf course located seven miles south of Historic Deadwood, South Dakota.

Tomahawk Golf Course first opened for play in 1933. The course was designed by Lawrence Hughes.

The course is scenic with numerous mature trees. Wate hazards come into play on three of the nine holes. The greens are sloped. The course winds through an area of Black Hills National Forest providing a unique and beautiful setting.

Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,300 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,636 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 531 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 170 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 9, a 423-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Tomahawk Golf Course is # 5, a 352 yard par-4.
