The course dates to 1926. The course was designed by Thomas Vardon.
The course has mature trees lining the narrow fairways and greens. Water hazards come into play on almost every hole. The greens are fast.

Aberdeen Links closed for play in 2001. The course was bulldozed. In its place was built a residential community with a 9-hole golf course. The new golf course is Rolling Hills Golf Course. Although build on land that was once Aberdeen Links, none of the old course layout or holes were retained.

Too bad this course got demoed and houses were built. The course was designed by Thomas Vardon. Sad to lose a course with so much history.
