Parkland Golf Course closed on Aug. 30 2015.

Gerald Markim, of Dade City, Florida, owns the course.

The course might be marketed as just a nine-hole course, though. Markim said the back nine is zoned as multi-family housing, so he intends to research that market to see if the land will sell. And, the course will be easier to sell as a nine-hole course because the price will be lower, according to Markim. He is open to selling the entire course as is, as well.

Markim said hopes to have the course on the market soon.

"I will do some research about other uses for the land," Markim said. "I will explore my options."
