The Aguirre Golf Club is legendary in Puerto Rico and is well known around the world by all golf lovers. Aguirre Golf Club was built land that was previously a sugar plantation. Sugar mill owners originally opened the course to please their executives and the course still stands today as a popular destination for golfers who want a challenge.

Aguirre Golf Club is the Island's oldest golf course. This golf course is a favorite of many golfers young and old. This popular nine-hole course is known for its difficult and challenging rounds. It has a very unusual terrain and narrow fairways, which makes playing here a challenge, even for expert players. Many of the trees that stood when the course first opened are still scattered throughout the rolling terrain of the course. Water hazards come into play on two holes and there is moderate bunkering throughout. An abundance of uneven lies add even more difficulty to the course.
