Frosty Valley Golf Links first opened for play in 1969. The course was designed by Joseph L. Lee.
Though not a full 18 hole facility, the nine hole course playslike a regulation length course withe a 9-hole par of 36. Because of the hilly nature of the course, you may want to take a cart if your going to do a double loop-18.
Par for the course is 36. From the back tees the course plays to 3,121 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,371 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 528 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 8, a par-3 that plays to 160 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 424 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Frosty Valley is # 3, a 247 yard par-4.

Lovely experience - Level golf course for Pittsburgh with tee boxes for every level of play. Great greens and fairways! Food and Beverage area after play were excellent and nice grass practice facilities.
