Edgewood Country Club, is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Edgewood Country Club was established in 1898. Their Donald Ross designed golf course first opened for play in 1921. Arthur Hills rennovated the course in 1990.
This hilly course has thirteen holes with severe drop offs behind or alongside the greens. The design also includes several sand bunkers. The greens make the course layout even more demanding, as they are fast, well contoured and difficult to lag. Although this is a short course, it does have its difficulties. There are many scenic and beautiful views to be seen throughout the course.
The Edgewood Country Club golf course plays to a par-72 and a maximum distance of 6,429 yards for a par course rating of 72.0 and a slope rating of 133.

This 1921 Donald Ross beauty is one of the finest courses in the area. Difficulty is high for the average golfer but low handicappers can do well if they can handle the fast and undulating greens. Ross did a great job of creating a great track on very hilly conditions. The Club is over a 105 years old and offers a truly traditional golf outing. The clubhouse and facilities are magnificent. The locker room is similar to Oakmont. Rolling hills and fast greens. Love this course, if you ever get a chance to play it, do. The Club has excellent food in the Donald Ross grill. Staff is excellent and very knowledgeable. Caddies are available but not necessary.
