Detailed description

Richmond Hill Golf Club is an 18 hole golf course located in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

The course opened in 1991. The course architect was C.E. "Robbie" Robinson.

This short, tight course demands bulls-eye accuracy and will force you to use all your clubs as you try to strategically place the ball in the right spots. The well-bunkered greens are small, fast and have many subtle breaks, while the tree-lined fairways are of a medium width, well defined and completely surrounded by mounds.  The first ten holes on the course rest on a plateau, the next seven are down in the Don River Valley, and hole #18 is back on the plateau in front of the clubhouse.

The signature hole is #11, a 389-yard, par 4, requiring a tee shot over a gully downhill to the Don River Valley, which has a water hazard on the left and giant fescue covering the hill on the right.  The well-bunkered green has a creek running in the back of it.

Par for the course is 70. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,004 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,935 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 538 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 17, a par-3 that plays to 163 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 11, a 393-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Richmond Hill Golf Course is # 4, a 164 yard par-3.
