Detailed description

Glen Abbey Golf Course is a semi-private 18-hole golf course located in Oakville, Ontario.

The course first opened for play in 1976. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus.

The course is home to the Royal Canadian Golf Association and the Canadian Golf Hall of Fame.

Glen Abbey is known for its "Valley Holes", #11-15.

#11, a par 4, has golfers teeing off a cliff to a fairway 60 feet below on the valley floor. The second shot must clear Sixteen Mile Creek to the green.

#s 12, 13 and 14 all use Sixteen Mile Creek as a hazard of one form or another.

# 15 is a short par 3 with a sharply-sloping green, after which golfers climb out of the valley to #16.

Black tees: par-73, 7,273 yards
Gold tees: par-73, 6,622 yards
Blue tees: par-73, 6,224 yards
Green tees: par-73, 5,747 yards
Red tees: par-73, 5,346 yards
