Detailed description

Lakeview Golf Course is a public 18 hole golf course located in Mississauga, Ontario.

The course first opened for play in 1907. The course was redesigned in 1920 by Herbert Strong.

The course sits on terrain that is predominantly flat. The fairways are fairly wide with most being tree lined.  Water hazards come into play on five holes. Sand bunkers are scattered throughout the design. The greens are small, very undulating and generally fast.

Keeping with tradition, Lakeview remains true to the Herbert Strong-designed parkland-style course layout, featuring large sloping greens with subtle breaks that offer incredible challenges and fun. Described as one of southern Ontario's "hidden gems", Lakeview Golf Course is a two-time host to the Canadian Open and designated as an Ontario Heritage site.

The signature hole is #17, a 95-yard, par 3, that requires a skilled shot to a well-bunkered, elevated green.

Blue tees: par-71, 6,340 yards, 70.5 / 124
White tees: par-71, 5,910 yards, 68.6 / 119
Red tees: par-72, 5,193 yards, 70.3 / 121
