The Golf Club At Cimarron Trails, is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Perkins, Oklahoma.
The Golf Club At Cimarron Trails first opened for play in 1994. The course was designed by Kevin Benedict and Arnold Palmer.
The Golf Club At Cimarron Trails is a well-maintained course with mature trees that can alter your shots. The fairways are wide. The greens are fast, undulating, and very smooth. Water hazards come into play at least five times. Cafted from the sandy loam of the Cimarron River, this 18 hole retreat covers 200 acres of scenic beauty.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6959 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5128 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 579 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 7, a par-3 that plays to 179 yards from the back tees. #7, is also the signature hole requiring a tee shot from off an elevated tee to a medium-sized, elevated green that is guarded on both sides by trees.
Watch out for # 2, a 203 yard par-3 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 3, a 476 yard par-5.

I've played this course four or five times, and I keep hoping it will get better, but it hasn't yet. The fairways are in bad shape, with huge patches of bare dirt on every hole. The greens are even worse, with large dead spots on every green, and seven or eight of the greens are virtually dead. If the staff would take better care of the course it would probably be an average place. If you're in the Stillwater area, you're going to have a much better time at the municipal course, or if you can afford it, Karsten Creek is not far away. Guthrie also has at least four very nice courses.

Nice course. Play at least once yearly in a benefit tournament. Some holes are very easy, while others do challenge shot-making abilities.
