Country Acres Golf Club, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Ottawa, Ohio.
Country Acres Golf Club first opened for play in 1978. The course was designed by Bob Simmons. He turned an old horse farm into one of Northwest Ohio's finest facilities.
The golf course underwent one major renovation in the 1990's when the 18th hole became the signature hole of the course. The 18th green is completely surrounded by water, making it the only island green in Northwest Ohio. Fairway bunkers were also added to this hole.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,454 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,854 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 10, a par-5 that plays to 520 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 5, a par-3 that plays to 154 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 9, a 416 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Country Acres Golf Club is # 15, a 349 yard par-4.
