Detailed description

Orchard Hills Country Club is a Private 18 hole golf course located in Bryan, Ohio.

Orchard Hills Country Club first opened for play in 1926. The first nine holes designed by W.S. Danielak and Lane Scott, and the back nine designed by Harold Paddock, Sr. The course was later redesigned by Roy Albert Anderson and in 1967 it was redesigned by Arthur Hills.

The greens are small and difficult to read, and the fairways are tree lined and plush. Water hazards come into play on several holes.

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,473 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,054 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 15, a par-5 that plays to 548 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 148 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 7, a 426 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 11, the 148 yard par-3.

Facing a debt in excess of $3 million, the Bryan, Ohio club's shareholder group consented to judgment and foreclosure in January 2013. The course closed its doors and stopped operations on February 19, 2013.
