Eagle Ridge Golf Course, previously named Williston Country Club, is a public, 18 hole golf course located in Williston, North Dakota.
(The former Williston Country Club was a private course that opened with nine holes.) Rather than just adding nine holes, the new owner (a local physician) changed the routing so that each nine contains some of the original holes with some of the new ones. Unlike many links-style courses, this one includes water and features an island green on number 7.
Williston Country Club first opened for play in 1958. The course was expanded to 18 holes in 1970.
This prairie-links course borders on the banks of the Little Muddy River. The course has wide open rolling fairways with risk and reward holes that round out the degree of difficulty.
