Knollwood Fairways

Knollwood Fairways is a Semi-Private 18 holes golf course  located in Southern Pines,North Carolina .

Knollwood Fairways first opened for play in 1964.The course was designed by C. A. Pitts.

Par for the course is 35. From the back tees the course plays to 2,517 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,207 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 7, a par-5 that plays to 510 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 1, a par-3 that plays to 117 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 7, the 510 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Knollwood Fairways is # 1, the 117 yard par-3.

Along with the challenging 9-hole golf course where the art of shot making takes precedence over power, Knollwood has a co-located driving range and is also a practice and learning facility. Knollwood Fairways was named PING Golf's National Club Fitter of the year for 2010.
