Harry L. Jones, Sr. Golf Course

Harry L. Jones, Sr. Golf Course, previously named Renaissance Park Golf Course, is a Public 18 hole golf course located off the Billy Graham Parkway near the Coliseum in south Charlotte, North Carolina. Renaissance Park is a Mecklenburg County Park and Recreation Facility

The course opened for play in 1987. The course architect by Dr. Michael Hurdzan.

Hurdzan had a landfill on which to work his magic. The setting is now a golf landscape filled with nature, flora and exciting mix of holes.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,360 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 5,315 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 585 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 180 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 1, the 585 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Renaissance Park Golf Course is # 11, a 200 yard par-3.
