Sunnycrest Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Syracuse, New York.

Sunnycrest Park Golf Course first opened for play in 1928.

Sunnycrest Golf Course is located on the city’s East side in the beautiful Eastwood neighborhood. The course opened in 1928 under legendary golf professional Larry Murphy. Originally built as a regulation length course it underwent a major renovation in 1960 with the construction of Henninger High School. The course is now a 9-hole,Par-3 that blends itself perfectly to the surrounding homes. The course now plays to a 9-hole par of 27 and a maximum distance of 1,020 yards. This is a good course on which to practice you short game.

#1, 93 yards. Narrow fairway runs slightly uphill to small, elevated green. Fairway is guarded by large cluster of trees on right and left sides.

#2, 127 yards. Extremely narrow fairway that runs along a hillside. Large, flat green guarded by heavy rough and hillside.

#3, 120 yards. Straightaway hole, flat level fairway with out of bounds to right and steep drop-off to the left, large Flat Green protected by grass bunkers.

#4, 140 yards. Long line of trees along right side of fairway, large drop-off to the right of hole, large undulating green nestled among trees.

#5, 90 yards. Elevated tee, fairway slopes downward to a very small undulating green, heavy rough to the left with a road bordering the right side of fairway.

#6, 125 yards. Tee set high, out of bounds to right long line of trees to the left, downhill shot to flat green protected by bunkers.

#7, 123 yards. Straight away hole, very dangerous. Out of bounds to the right, large cluster of trees surrounding the left side, green is bordered by bunkers on right and road behind, proper club selection a must.

#8, 130 yards. Fairway slopes right to left, out of bounds to the right side, large green bordered by trees and bunkers.

#9, 95yards. Downhill, fairway sloping left to right, road bordering right side. Extremely small undulating green protected on all sides, deep bunkers to the right.
