Gouverneur Country Club

Gouverneur Country Club is a Semi-Private, 9 hole golf course located in Gouverneur, New York.

The course first opened for play in 1925.

This hilly course makes you hit many blind shots from off the hill tops. There are a variety of fairways, and the fast greens vary between small to medium in size. The only water hazard on the course comes from a small creek flowing through a couple of holes.  An additional set of tees can be used when playing a double loop eighteen hole round.

Par for the course is 36. From the back tees, the course plays to 3,182 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 2,693 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 4, a par-5 that plays to 540 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 2, a par-3 that plays to 148 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 5, a 416 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 2, a 148 yard par-3.

If playing a double loop 18-hole round, the course plays to 6,379-yard and a rating/slope of 70.1/122.
