Detailed description

Delphi Falls Golf Course is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Delphi Falls, New York.

Delphi Falls Golf Course first opened for play in 1967. The course was designed by Franklin Humbert. The course was redesigned in 1982 by Michael Ward.

Delphi Falls Golf Course has wide-open fairways and sloping greens that are hard to read. Water hazards (two ponds and a river) flow through the course and come into play on three holes.

The signature hole is #9, a 438-yard, par 5, featuring an elevated tee that provides a commanding view of the clubhouse and course. To reach the undulating green on hole #9, golfers must negotiate their way past all three water hazards.

From higher ground where the clubhouse and practice green are located, there is beautiful, scenic westerly view of the entire course as well as from the 7th, 9th and 12th tee boxes looking east towards the clubhouse. Trees have been strategically planted throughout provide clear fairway to rough outline and add scenic interest.

The course is par 69 from the white tees and 70 from the red tees. Two ponds and a stream bisecting the course come into play on multiple holes. The charming, circa 1820 historic 3-story clubhouse includes a pro shop, snack bar, kitchen, inside seating for 35 with a covered attached patio seating 30.

The course closed operations in 2013.
