Clinton Carlough bought the property, which was originally an apple orchard, and built the country club. It was family-owned and operated by the Carloughs until it was sold in 2014. The course officially closed in 2015.
The property was purchased by Toll Brothers.
The initial plan is to build 78 upscale homes on the property — each on 36,000-square-foot parcels.

I loved the set up.....fairly short course with tight fairways and gruelingly fast greens. I real thinking man's course to score. Being in the wrong place or on the wrong tier is torturous...

Apple Ridge is my home course. The course is always beautifully maintained, the staff is the best in the business. The greens are the consistently superior!
