Hendricks Field Golf Course, is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in Belleville, New Jersey.
Hendricks Field Golf Course first opened in 1897. The course was designed by Tom Bendelow.
Hendricks is a full-size golf course broken into two parts with Belleville Avenue running through the middle. Playtime varies throughout the year, keeping up with daylight hours. Hendricks is one of three county-run golf courses for Essex County featuring 6,113 yards of golf from the longest tees for a par of 70. The course rating is 69.4 and it has a slope rating of 116 on ryegrass.
Hendricks offers two distinct nines. The back nine is shorter and much tighter than the front nine, requiring more shot-making decisions and "Fore!" ducks. There's a stretch of three par 3s in four holes that can be interesting. The front nine has three of the four 400-yard plus holes on the course and more room to make mistakes.
