Wauneta Country Club is a public 9-hole golf course located in Wauneta, Nebrasks.
Wauneta golf course opened in 1971.
The property is an irregularly shaped parcel which contains 46.52 acres, more or less. It is in native grasses, and was traditionally utilized as pasture for livestock grazing. In 1991 the Wauneta Country Club purchased the parcel and established a sand green golf course on the property. During this period the Club also improved the land with an 18 foot by 36 foot frame building which has served as their golf clubhouse.
The Wauneta Country Club golf course closed in 2007.
