VanBerg Park & Golf Course

VanBerg Park & Golf Course is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in Columbus, Nebraska.

The golf course first opened for play in 1928.

The course is located just north of the Loup River. It sits on terrain very similar to its partner course, Quail Run.

The fairways are level to moderately rolling with dips and swales. Mature elm and cottonwoods can be found throughout the southern part of the course, with evergreens to the north. 

Hole #1, a 140-yard, par 3, requires a tee shot over a lake.  
Hole #7, a 480-yard, par 5, features a dogleg left fairway.  

Although the course does offer some challenging terrain, the design is easy to walk and caters to senior citizens and beginning players.
