Riverbend Golf Club is a Public, 9 hole golf course located in East Grand Forks, Minnesota.
The course reopened in 1995. Blackmun opened the nine-hole course in 1995 after it sat dormant for 25 years
Blue tees: par-36, 3,143 yards
White tees: par-36, 3,048 yards
Red tees: par-36, 2,878 yards
Blackmun opening of the course was bad timing. It coincided with the beginning of a wet cycle.
"The course had 13 floods in seven years," he said, "When we opened it, there had been 19 years since there was a summer flood."
Summer floods not only disrupted the revenue flow, but also damaged the grass. Blackmun gave up on the course in the middle of the 2002 summer, when another flood hit.
The course closed in 2002.
