Detailed description

Marquette Golf Club, is a Semi-Private, 36 hole golf facility located in Marquette, Michigan. The facility has two 18-hole courses, The Heritage and Greywalls.

First opened for play in 1926, the semi-private club's original course is The Heritage, designed by William Langford (later expanded by David Gill) and Marquette Golf Club's 2005 nationally-ranked course addition, Greywalls, designed by Mike DeVries.

The Heritage is a forgiving, yet challenging, course that's enjoyable to play. The front nine eases you into your round and prepares you for the undulating and more challenging back nine. Both the front and back nine incorporate aspects of William Langford's original design.

The original nine holes were designed by William Langford and Theodore Moreau in 1926, and the second nine were added by David Gill in 1969. The front nine sprawls out over gently rolling terrain and is notable for its imaginative green complexes and classic beauty. The back nine takes the player into more dramatic slopes offering views of Lake Superior and a challenging finish to a thoroughly enjoyable round of golf.

Blue Tees: 6,260 yards, course ranking 70.0, slope rating 124.

WHITE Tees: 5,887 yards, course ranking 68.4, slope rating 119.

RED Tees (W): 5,161 yards, course ranking 69.7, slope rating 118.
