This 18 hole par 70 championship course is just minutes from Routes 2, 3, and 495

Hole #1 Par 4, Blue 324, White 312, Red 274, Position you drive on Hole One to your favorite yardage. This hole allows an early birdie chance.

Hole #2 Par 4, Blue 406, White 375, Red 311, You need to hit a wood off the tee that you are comfortable with. A very narrow fairway can make for a big score with an errant drive.

Hole #3 Par 3, Blue 139, White 126, Red 106, Be careful on this one. Do not let the length fool you. Any shot that misses the green will make par a tough accomplishment.

Hole #4 Par 4, Blue 424, White 383, Red 319, Narrow fairways, a fair way wood or long iron off the tee is a wise option. Accuracy is a premium on this hole from tee to green.

Hole #5 Par 5, Blue 471, White 457, Red 382, A short par five. Any drive down the right side of fairway will roll down hill to middle. Do not go left and ruin a birdie chance.

Hole #6 Par 4, Blue 327, White 308, Red 237, Risk vs. Reward. A good drive may be near green where an iron off the tee may be your best option. A short double dog leg that can produce a score from 3-8.

Hole #7 Par 3, Blue 174, White 156, Red 134, Another par 3 where hitting the green is a premium. If you miss, miss left, because all shots to the right will trickle into a hazard.

Hole #8 Par 4, Blue 372, White 349, Red 219, Tee placement is premium on yet another difficult tee shot. Take enough club on second shot because anything short is wet with a pond protecting the green.

Hole #9 Par 4, Blue 361, White 351, Red 273, Finally. Grip it and rip it.

Hole #10 Par 4, Blue 418, White 375, Red 320, Amen! Corner Townsend style. Hole Ten demands an accurate drive and no second chance or a big score is in your future.

Hole #11 Par 4, Blue 400, White 377, Red 295, Choose your weapon wisely. Almost a 90 degree angle in middle of fairway, make club selection on tee a premium. Too long - in woods. Too short - blocked by trees. A shot of 215 - 220 off blue tee is perfect.

Hole #12 Par 5, Blue 474, White 460, Red 358, Par 5 uphill. Dog leg to left. Enough said. A driver may be what you want to hit, but being in fairway on this hole is a must.

Hole #13 Par 4, Blue 346, White 328, Red 204, Signature Hole. Tee shot must clear hill, but not too far. A pond in front of the green means no driver. Again a shot to favorite yardage leaves a good birdie chance.

Hole #14 Par 4, Blue 429, White 429, Red 388, Straight away down hill Par 4. Be careful on approach, green slopes front to back slightly so any shot past pin may trickle of back.

Hole #15 Par 4, Blue 372, White 349, Red 219, Short downhill par 3. As with all par 3's at Townsend a shot short or long of green spells -- Big Numbers!

Hole #16 Par 4, Blue 390, White 359, Red 333, Tee shot placement. Choose a fairway wood or long iron to lay up with. A driver may run out of fairway. Green is crowned, second shot needs to be high and soft to hold its position on green.

Hole #17 Par 3, Blue 194, White 170, Red 141, Last par 3 and a good one. Long iron or wood off tee to a green that slopes away and to right. Even shots on green do not guarantee a par.

Hole #18 Par 4, Blue 385, White 364, Red 295, Finishing Hole. A driver seems logical, but may trickle into pond if pulled or hit too good. Club selection to 100 yard marker is best play. Many matches won and lost on a birdie hole like this one.
