Detailed description

Quail Ridge Country Club, previously a private course, and now open to the public, is an 18-hole course located in Acton, Massachusetts, at the corner of Route 2A and Route 27 near Boston.

Quail Ridge Country Club opened for play in 2005. The course was designed by Mark Mungeam.

The course is parkland style design routed through the pine trees and hardwood forest and bordered by conservation land and water, each hole isolated and quiet. It's a definite shotmaker's type of course which not only requires accuracy, but distance, depending on the tees you select. A good amount of risk/reward, while nice hole variety and angles to the hole. Some holes favor a fade, while others a draw. Nice elevation change, a good amount of water in play, tree lined fairways and wetland, all the trouble you'll need!

Par for the course is 71. From the back tees the course plays to 6,380 yards. From the foward tees the course plays to 4,884 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 1, a par-5 that plays to 579 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 11, a par-3 that plays to 169 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 1, the 579 yard par-5 challenge is the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Quail Ridge Country Club is # 17, a 197 yard par-3.
