Moose River Golf Course, is a Public, 9 hole golf course located located along Main Street (Route 201) in the Town of Moose River, Maine.
Established in 1935, the golf course, owned by the Town of Moose River, is maintained and operated by a private manager. The course opens each spring as soon as the ground dries out and remains open well into the fall depending upon weather conditions.
The Moose River Golf Course, is a 1,976 yard, par 31, nine hole golf course overlooking the western mountains and the upper Moose River Valley. This heavily wooded executive course was built on hilly terrain with several out-of-bounds stakes lining the fairways. There is a water hazard that comes into play on hole #6. The ladies tee off from the same set of tees as the men.
During the golfing season, the course is open from 7am to 7pm daily. There are no tee times. The public is always welcome.
