Sheltowee Trail Country Club, is a Private, 9 hole golf course located in Morehead, Kentucky. "Sheltowee" is a Shawnee word meaning "big turtle." 

Sheltowee Trail Country Club first opened for play in 1995.The course was designed by Chris Chrisman.

The course has undulating greens. Water hazards coming into play on five holes. The signature hole is #2, a 410-yard, par 4, requiring a long and difficult tee shot over a ravine, then a blind approach shot to the green. 

Par for the course is 36. From the back tees the course plays to 3,381 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 2,117 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 500 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 3, a par-3 that plays to 213 yards from the back tees.

The course closed in 2012.
