Detailed description

Warren Golf Course At Notre Dame is a Public, 18 hole golf course located in South Bend, Indiana.

Warren Golf Course first opened for play in 2000. The course was designed by Ben Crenshaw and Bill Coore.

The Warren Course was named for a Notre Dame alumnus, Bill Warren. Bill made a $7 million donation to build the course. The course sits a short distance from the Notre Dame campus. It was built property that includes bluffs and wetlands, and Juday Creek.

This traditionally designed course features Wide fairways, big greens, rectangular tee boxes, a lake near the 3rd and 4th holes and one at the 17th, plus a fair number of older trees give the course a park-like setting. Plus, it's set-up to be a walking course. There's very little waste from green to tee.

Par for the course is 71. The course plays to 7,020 yards from the championship tees, 6,744 yards from the back tees, and 6,346 yards from the middle tees.

The Warren Course replaced the original university 18 hole golf course. The back nine holes on the original course were used to make room for university buildings. The original course remains open as a nine-hole course.
