Deer Trail Golf Club, previously named Shelby Country Club, is a 9-hole golf course located in Shelbyville ,Illinois.
The Deer Trail golf course first opened for play in 1923.
The course is set alongside Lake Shelby and is very scenic. This is a hilly and wide open course with generous fairways and large greens. Water hazards come into play on several holes.
The Deer Trail golf course is a regulation length 9-hole layout playing to 2,832 yards, a par-35, with a course rating of 33.1 and a slope rating of 107.
The course closed in 2013 after 90 years of providing good times and memories.
