Detailed description

Glen View Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Golf, Illinois.

Glen View Club first opened for play in 1897 under the name of Glen View Golf and Polo Club. A few years later the name was changed to Glen View Club. The course was designed by Richard Leslie. In 1922, the course had its first major redesign by William S. Flynn. Areas of the golf course were changed in 1999 by golf course architect David Esler.

This is an extremely well-manicured course. The fairways are open, and the greens are of average size and well-bunkered. The U.S. Open was played here in 1904 and the winner was Willie Anderson. Water hazards come into play on a few holes, and numerous mature trees can affect your shots.

Blue tees: par-71, 6,550 yards, 71.3/129

White tees: par-71, 6,002 yards, 69.9/121

Red tees: par-75, 5,818 yards, 75.0/130
