Idlewild Country Club

Idlewild Country Club is a Private, 18 hole golf course located in Flossmoor, twenty-five miles south of Chicago, Illinois.

Idlewild Country Club first was started in 1908. Al Naylor for the sum of $60 a month to design the course, be the ground's keeper, teach the members the game, run the pro shop and take charge of training the caddies. William Langford redesigned the course in the 1930's.

With undulating hills, exquisite tree-lined terrain and well designed hazards; the course features a par-72, 6,675 yard layout that provides even the most accomplished golfer with a demanding challenge. The course has 5 par 3's and 5 par 5's.

This is an exclusive and picturesque course built on rolling terrain. There is a creek that flows throughout the course that comes into play on a few holes. The greens are very small and sloped. Water hazards come into play on four holes.
