Cary is a hilly course with tree-lined fairways. The greens are small, undulating and often located on hilltops, requiring a blind approach shot. Hole #15, a 296-yard, par 4, features the only dogleg fairway on the course. The sand bunkers are mostly around the greens, but some are located on the fairways. Water hazards (two lakes and a creek) come into play on three holes.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,135 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5,595 yards and plays to a par-77 fpr ladies. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 539 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 6, a par-3 that plays to 138 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 7, a 486 yard par-5 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 6, a 138 yard par-3.

Insane pricing...9 holes almost the same as 18! Not very senior friendly...walkers get very little price break. Staff...especially course manager...arrogant and unfriendly to most golfers.
