The golf course at Hunter Golf Club first opened for play in 1967. The course was designed by George Cobb.

The Hunter Golf Club has 18 holes, par 72, clubhouse and driving range. The hours of operation are 7:30 am-5 pm, 7 days per week, with tee times needed for weekend & holiday play. The first weekend in March Hunter Golf Club hosts the Annual Invitational Collegiate Golf Tournament.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6518 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 5119 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 16, a par-5 that plays to 528 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 13, a par-3 that plays to 153 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 3, a 441 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole is # 14, a 452 yard par-5.
