Detailed description

Alpharetta Country Club is a Private 36 hole golf course located in Alpharetta, Georgia. The facility has two courses, The East Course and The West Course.

The East Course, previously named Crooked Creek Golf Club first opened for play in 1996. The course was designed by Michael Riley.

Alpharetta Athletic Club's East Course offers an 18 hole golf course that will challenge golfers of all skill levels. The East Course is located in the beautiful city of Milton only minutes away from GA 400 in the North East outskirts of Atlanta. The East course is a par 72 Michael Riley design, that plays nearly 7,000 yards from the back tee. Featuring undulating greens, tee shots that you must pay attention to (out of bounds on every hole), and challenging approach shots.

This course, built on rolling terrain, features a mixture of hardwood and pine trees lining its narrow fairways. No blind shots are required, and the greens are gently rolling and medium-sized. Water hazards (lakes, creeks, ponds, and streams) come into play on twelve holes. The signature hole is #17, a par 4, requiring a tee shot from an elevated tee, then an approach shot over water to an island green.

Gold tees: par-70, 6,894 yards, course rating 73.4, slope rating 143.

Black tees: par-70, 6,689 yards, course rating 72.5, slope rating 140.

Blue tees: par-70, 6,419 yards, course rating 71.3, slope rating 137.
