Detailed description

Wellington National Golf Club, previously known at Brinks Forest Golf Club, is a private 18-hole golf course located in Wellington, Florida.

The course first opened for play in 1990 as Brinks Forest. The Course was designed by legendary Johnny Miller, a member of the Golf Hall of Fame who is featured each weekend on NBC and the Golf Channel as their lead analyst.

Wellington National underwent a complete renovation in 2007. The renovation was handled by golf architect Gene Bates.

The course plays tight and with numerous mature pine trees, the fairways are narrow in some spots. The greens roll fast and true. The course effectively utilizes the natural elevation changes and water features. The bunkers are strategically placed to challenge your play.

Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 7,125 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,226 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 17, a par-5 that plays to 563 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 138 yards from the back tees.

Watch out for # 9, a 485-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Wellington National is # 16, a 138 yard par-3.
