Sebring Golf Club is a Public 18 hole golf course located in Sebring, Florida and is the cornerstone of the City's recreational amenities.
Sebring Golf Club first opened for play in 1928.
Sebring Golf Club is a true example of the old Florida golf course. Four sets of tees provide a fair test of the player's abilities, no matter what they may be. While only 6,204 yards from the back tees, the small elevated greens make the course play much longer. The wide fairways are surrounded by manicured roughs.
While hurricanes Charley, Frances, and Jeanne of 2004 destroyed many of the trees that decorated he course, it presented the City an opportunity to replant the course with some native Florida egetation.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees the course plays to 6,204 yards. From the forward tees the course measures 4,909 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 12, a par-5 that plays to 534 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 16, a par-3 that plays to 150 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 13, a 392 yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at Sebring Golf Club is # 7, a 299 yard par-4.
The golf course is open every day except Christmas day. The hours of operation are 7:00am till 6:00pm. The Muni is unique, as it welcomes and encourages walkers. Cart sheds are available for rent to members.
