Hollybrook Golf & Tennis Club is a semi-private 36-hole golf facility located in Pembroke Pines, Florida. The facility has an 18-hole championship hole and an 18-hole par-3 course. The courses are part of a 55 gated condominium community.
The course is opened to the public except for November 1st to April 15th, when it is private and reserved exclusively for property owners and renters.
The Championship Course opened in 1965.
The Championship Course has tree-lined fairways that are fairly open, and elevated greens which are medium speed. Several lakes come into play, and the terrain is predominantly flat.
One of the most difficult holes is #6, a 420-yard, par 4, requiring a perfectly-placed tee shot between trees on the right and the two lakes guarding the left. In addition, there is a hill that slopes down to the water, so you'll want to hit your tee shot with a slight fade, next you'll be required to hit an approach shot to an elevated green that is well bunkered.
Par for the course is 72. From the back tees, the course plays to 6,590 yards. From the forward tees, the course measures 4,655 yards. The longest hole on the course is # 9, a par-5 that plays to 540 yards. The shortest hole on the course is # 12, a par-3 that plays to 164 yards from the back tees.
Watch out for # 5, a 390-yard par-4 challenge and the #1 handicap hole on the course. The easiest hole at The Championship Course is # 12, the 164 yard par-3.
