Detailed description

Hammock Beach Resort, is a 36-hole golf resort golf facility located in Palm Coast, Florida. The facility has two 18-hole championship golf courses. They are, The Ocean Course - A Nicklaus Signature Course, and The Conservatory Course - A Tom Watson Signature Course.

Ocean Hammock Golf Resort, The Ocean Course, first opened for play in April, 2001. The course was designed by Jack Nicklaus.

With two award-winning golf courses designed by masters of the game, Ocean Hammock Golf Resort is the great place to play golf on Florida's Atlantic Coast. Whether you want the beauty and challenge of the aptly named Ocean Golf Course, or the unexpected terrain of the Conservatory Course, Hammock Beach Resort is a great golfing destination.

With six holes that put the players right on the very edge of the Atlantic Ocean, The Ocean Course has both beauty and challenge. The course is lauded for its charm and beauty and often mentioned in lists of the country's best resort courses. The signature holes are the final 4 finishing holes described as the Bear's claw. This difficult stretch of holes, bordering the ocean, will make it challenging to finish out a low round of golf.

The Ocean Course is a private resort course, open to members, their guests and resort guests. The green fee for resort guests is $175, including a cart (2010 prices).
