Wilderness Country Club first opened for play in 1974. The course was completely rennovated in 2004 by Arthur Hills.

 At 6,652 yards from its championship tees, the course offers a complete examination of a player's skills, from the opening tee shot to the negotiation of the deeply bunkered 18th green.
